Pool Replastering and Remodeling

Rough, stained or leaking plaster is a sign a pool is due for resurfacing. A renovation is also the right moment to fix tile, equipment and plumbing at the same time. We manage the project for hotels, HOAs and commercial properties, so one team keeps the scope, schedule and your pool closure window under control.

Benefits

Why choose pool replastering & remodeling

A smooth, clean surface

Fresh plaster removes roughness, staining and etching, and makes the pool easier to keep clean.

Fix everything in one closure

Tile, equipment and plumbing can be addressed while the pool is drained, so you close the pool once, not three times.

Schedule and scope control

We plan the work around your property, give you a written scope and keep you informed of the schedule.

Long-term pool management

Because we also service pools, we understand how a new surface should be started up and maintained so it lasts.

What is included

  • Pool surface inspection and written renovation scope
  • Re-plastering and resurfacing projects
  • Tile and coping repair coordinated with the resurfacing
  • Equipment and plumbing upgrades while the pool is drained

Our process

How our pool replastering & remodeling process works

  1. 1

    Inspect and scope

We evaluate the surface, tile, plumbing and equipment, and write a scope that lists what will and will not be done.

  2. 2

    Plan the closure

We agree a schedule that keeps your pool out of service for the shortest time practical, including notices to residents or guests.

  3. 3

    Drain and prepare

The pool is drained and prepared, and repairs to the shell, tile and plumbing are completed.

  4. 4

    Resurface

The new surface is applied and finished. Plastering is a specialized trade, and the contract identifies who performs each part of the work.

  5. 5

    Refill and start-up

We refill, balance and start up the pool carefully so the new surface cures well, then move you onto regular service.

Pool Replastering & Remodeling FAQs

How do I know my pool needs replastering?

Common signs include rough or flaking plaster, stains that will not clean, visible cracks, small leaks and a pool that holds less chemical balance. A surface inspection tells you how much life is left.

How long does a pool renovation take?

It depends on the size of the pool and the scope. A resurfacing project takes longer than routine repairs. We give you a written schedule so you can plan the closure.

Who performs the plastering work?

We manage the project and tell you in the contract who performs each part of the work, including any specialist subcontractors, so you know exactly who is on your property.

Can you renovate a hotel or HOA pool?

Yes. One of our reviewers describes a hotel pool renovation delivered on time, and we also maintain pools for resorts and associations. We plan around your closure window.

Can you upgrade equipment during a remodel?

Yes, and it is usually the best time to do it. With the pool drained, equipment, plumbing and tile are easier to reach and replace.

Do I need to drain the pool for repairs?

Resurfacing requires draining. Many other repairs do not. We tell you which applies after we inspect.

How much does replastering cost?

It depends on surface area, the finish chosen, repairs needed and access. We quote every project in writing after an inspection.
